I am currently serving as the Associate Professor in Computer Science at the FLAME School of Computing and Data Sciences , where I also hold the position of Chair. Additionally, I am an Affiliate Faculty in Design at the FLAME School of Design, Art & Performance . Previously, I held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

I completed my Ph.D. from the Visualization and Perception Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, under the guidance of Prof. Sukhendu Das . My doctoral research focused on Content-Based Video Retrieval (CBVR).

My current research interests span the broad domains of Computer Vision and applied Machine Learning. I am actively involved in the interdisciplinary research platform on Digital Humanities , where I contribute to areas such as Migration, Cultural Heritage, and Game Studies.

My passion for interdisciplinary collaboration extends to my role as an advisor. I am enthusiastic about guiding undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students who are interested in Image Analytics, Digital Humanities, Computer Graphics, AR-VR, Industry 4.0, and Digital Healthcare. Before my academic pursuits, I gained industry experience as an associate with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. in Chennai, India. During my tenure, I played a key role as a module lead for a prominent US-based telecom client, managing both development and quality assurance responsibilities.

Looking forward to continuing my academic and research journey, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and mentoring the next generation of innovative minds.
